What does it include?

Felting workshops are suitable for complete beginners, experienced felters, or anyone in between.  Because the maximum number of participants on any one day is limited to just five, there is ample opportunity for everyone to be working on completely different projects.  Most people go home with one or two pictures and maybe a small three-dimensional piece as well.

In the morning you will be shown how to make a small picture.  This will acquaint you with the fibres and techniques you will need to know to move onto a more ambitious project for the rest of the day.

Then the choice is yours…  perhaps you might like to make a larger picture, perhaps a pot or vase cover, maybe a 3D flower or some beads.  Some people (who worked very hard indeed!!!!!) have managed all these in one exhausting day.

All materials and tuition are included in the price, as are refreshments and a light lunch.

Please be aware that feltmaking is hard work and we shall be standing for most of the day, although you can, of course, have breaks if you need to.  The workshop is up a flight of stairs.

Workshops run from 10am – 4.30pm

They cost £65 per person

Rose is happy to run workshops for groups of 10+ in a venue of your choice.
